AWANA

AWANA

AWANA is a weekly kids club that teaches children biblical truths, facilitates Bible memorization and provides time for group games for children grades preK-8th grade. It is a ministry of AWANA Clubs International, a global organization that provides curriculum and training for churches to do effective children’s ministry. It’s goal is to introduce kids to Jesus Christ and build a biblical foundation for faith.

Covenant’s AWANA club meets from 6:15 to 8:00 pm in the Education Building on Wednesday nights throughout the school year. The kids club is divided into four age groups at Covenant: Cubbies (PreK and K), Sparks (1st-2nd grade), T&T (3-5th grade), and Youth (6-8th grade). The groups rotate between three activities: working through a handbook where they memorize Bible verses, playing games, and listening to a Bible lesson. If you have any questions about AWANA, would like to come check it out, or enroll your child, you can contact Sherri Bredenberg.
