Service is an important part of life at Covenant. Not only is it a way to serve other people and places, but it is also an important way to grow and mature in the faith. Covenant encourages attenders to use their gifts through volunteering alongside other Christians. Covenant has regular service opportunities listed in the order of worship, both within our church community and with our partner ministries, Breakthrough Urban Ministries and World Relief Chicago.
On the 4th Saturday of every month, Covenant serves breakfast at Breakthrough Urban Ministries. Learn more and sign up to volunteer here.
If you’d like to volunteer on Sunday mornings, Covenant is look for volunteers to help as ushers and as Children’s Ministry volunteers.
Ushers: Greet our attenders as they arrive to service and help people find their way as they arrive. If you’d like to volunteer, contact Jonathan Ellison.
Children’s Ministry: Volunteers help in our nurseries, children’s worship classroom and Sunday school classrooms. We need volunteers during both services (9:00 and 11:15 am) and during Common Ground (10:15). To volunteer, contact Ian Troll.
