{"id":10,"date":"2016-04-18T16:14:35","date_gmt":"2016-04-18T21:14:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/covenantchicago.stadigital.com\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2018-01-18T16:54:13","modified_gmt":"2018-01-18T22:54:13","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/covenantchicago.org\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesus said that he\u2019s making all things new (Revelation 21.5).\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">We believe that the incarnation, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus marked the beginning of a new creation, and that our world is hurtling headlong toward that beautiful moment when Jesus finishes his work of making everything new.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So that\u2019s our vision. \u00a0We want to see our church, our city and our world continually made new by the grace of Christ. \u00a0Until Jesus returns to finish his work, the church\u2019s work is to proclaim this good news and make it evident as a present reality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">At Covenant, we do that by:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Worshiping Together<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Growing and Learning Together<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Serving Together<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can read more about what we love and care about by reading our <a href=\"https:\/\/covenantchicago.org\/about-us\/vision-values\/\">vision and values<\/a>.
