Dear Church – We recorded this service on Friday morning, as news of spreading protests in cities across the nation, sparked by the killing of George Floyd, began to circulate. In the service, we prayed for justice to be served in Mr. Floyd’s death, and for peace in the city of Minneapolis. This morning, after two nights of unrest in Chicago, I encourage you to also pray for our own city, and for the rest of our nation. Pray for peaceful protest and lament, and pray for justice to flow not only through our legal systems, but also through the deepest parts of our own hearts. God promises to execute justice for the oppressed; he promises the peacemakers will be blessed. – Pastor Aaron
