How Can I Help?

How Can I Help?

So many of you have asked how you can help, and it’s deeply encouraging to us!  Presently, as best we know, the needs of our congregation have been minimal. If you know of a need in our congregation, please tell us about it!  You can write the pastors directly, or email the deacons or the office. The staff would be honored to pray for you, too, so if you have things you’d like us to pray for, you can send them to Pastor Dan.

It’s likely that folks in our congregation will face needs in the coming days, and as we hear about them, we’ll be sure to communicate with you about them. In the meantime, if you’re able, this would be a good time to contribute to our Deacon’s Fund.  You can do that here.

We’ve heard from many of our partner ministries, and they do have concrete needs at this time.  Please take a look at these needs and consider ways you might be able to help.

Breakthrough Urban Ministries: Breakthrough’s biggest need is catered meals for their residents and additional items for their food pantry. You can sign up to deliver a meal or see a list of needed supplies.

By the Hand: By the Hand is continuing to support their students by delivering care packages, creating virtual learning experiences, and checking in on their students. You can learn more and support their efforts here.

New Moms: New Moms is continuing to support the young mothers through job training, housing and providing basic food and supplies. You can support these mothers by sending them food and supplies directly or by financially supporting New Moms. More information and ways to donate can be found on their website.

The Night Ministry: The Night Ministry serves our city’s homeless youth and adults. They are in particular need for prepackaged or catered meals to continue serving these vulnerable populations. For a list of needed items, you can visit their website.

Sunshine Gospel Ministries: Sunshine is coordinating a door-to-door direct outreach to assess their neighbor’s needs. Their most pressing need at this point is ongoing financial support.
