Service Opportunities

Service Opportunities

Service is an important part of life at Covenant. Not only is it a way to serve other people and places, but it is also an important way to grow and mature in the faith. Covenant encourages attenders to use their gifts through volunteering alongside other Christians. Covenant has regular service opportunities listed in the order of worship, both within our church community and with our partner ministries, Breakthrough Urban Ministries and World Relief Chicago.

Below is a list of a few of our current volunteer needs. To sign up or learn more about additional opportunities, contact Pastor Dan Adamson.

Serve Breakfast at Breakthrough: Covenant serves breakfast on the 4th Saturday of the month. You’re welcome to sign up for one time or serve each month.
Hunger Walk: Join others from Covenant and around the city to raise funds for food pantries on September 16. Additional details are available on the event page.
AWANA Volunteers: AWANA begins again on September 13 and needs committed volunteers to help make it a success. Volunteer help on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 pm in the Education Building throughout the school year. We are currently in need of classroom teachers, classroom helps and game leaders.
Welcome Table: Welcome others to Covenant and provide information to newcomers about once a month.
